Aden Cafe

Dropped by this cozy cafe last Sunday night and had a pleasant experience. The owner was welcoming and gave a quick overview of their menu and bestsellers, even offering a sample of their tea—which turned out to be surprisingly good. We tried the Dubai chocolate crepe and a scoop of ice cream; both were delicious and well-prepared. While the service could use a bit of improvement (orders took a while, likely due to the busy crowd and the process of making the crepe), the overall vibe and quality of the food made it worth the visit.

Day 2 of celebrating his 2nd Father's Day and he wanted to go to Birmingham, Alabama. First stop, my Fast Food Fat Food King wanted dessert for lunch so we got just that! Dubai Strawberry Cup, Dubai Crepes, Knefe cheese pull dessert was what we had. I dont eat a ton of sweets, so please know this is just my own personal preference. Comfortably small, cozy cafe with coffee, teas, non-alcoholic mojitos, crepes, pastries, and ice cream. The staff is warm and helpful and the ice cream we had was tasty and didn't break the bank. Loungy jazz was piped out of the TV in the corner. They have a small bar counter, 4 four tops, and 2 Arabic L shaped floor sofas to sit at and enjoy each other's company. They've been open 4 months and I hope they do well - the kids love it.

Wow! This place is such a hidden gem. The owners are so so kind and welcoming, and truly made the experience amazing for me and my friends. The tea they have is some of the best I’ve ever had, and the Dubai chocolate crepe was absolutely out of this world. I cannot wait to go back!

Good experience! Loved the dubai chocolate crepes but would love it more if they use melted chocolate ganache or something instead of nutella and more pistachio+ kanafeh filling! But it was a pleasant experience for the palate!

I don't normally like to give reviews on my first visit but I need to give myself a reminder of this place on Google's servers so I don't lose it. I came in at night so I couldn't get the coffee, they have Yemeni coffee with rose, lavender and pistachio syrup options, which are all my favourites. If they had decaf I would have tried it but since they don't I will have to come back. *EDITED TO UPDATE* thanks to leaving this review, I was able to come back and try the coffee and sabaya. My first time in I tried the Dubai knafeh which could have been a little too delicious. In the future I might go one or the other but probably not both. I tried their specialty Aden Latte which is pistachio and lavender, a combination I'd not tried before even though I love them both, so I'm glad I tried it. The sabaya was also extremely delicious although it was microwaved a little too long. Will absolutely still try to come back and try more of the menu and would strongly recommend to friends and family.

Tried Dubai Crepe, it was great and beautifully presented. They also offered complementary chai. They have variety of options,definitely worth a try.
